At JMM Handyman Services, we understand the importance of protecting your home, especially during the fire season in Santa Barbara. That’s why we recently undertook a garage door weather sealing installation project. This involved the installation of Garadry thresholds and brush seals with aluminum angles on three garage doors. The aim was to create compression seals that keep out water and wildfire embers, which can help qualify for lower insurance costs. The project required precise measuring, cutting, and setting of seals on the floor, aluminum angle rails on the bottom of the garage doors, and the brush seals on the outside perimeter.
